The Zinema 7 is a filmed themed 4 star hotel located in the old Astoria Cinema building. The hotel is located in San Sebastien in the North East of Spain.

This must have one of the best wheelchair accessible rooms in the world as part of an ambitious project to improve accessible tourism in the region.

The accessible Travolta suite is a twin bed room with an en-suite wet room that has a wheel in shower. The room comes with a ceiling track hoist that runs from the bed, into the wet room. There’s also assistive technology that allows you to control items such as the electric profiling bed, curtains, lights and hoist all from one remote control or an app on your phone. Other in room facilities include a mini bar, safe, hairdryer, international TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi.

Eat, drink, love. As much as we like Ang Lee, we’re Basque. So we take the eating and drinking bit very seriously, at least. Come enjoy what our chef Iñigo Palma whips up for you, with our daily set menus, pintxos or seasonal a la carte menu. Enjoy our selection of wines. And don’t forget our cocktail bar is open late. We like to think of our café as a place where the old tradition of the sitting around having a chat still exists. An accessible, 5 bedroom family-run hotel in a stunning rural location. Las Piedras Hotel is the perfect place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the Costas and a great base from which to explore this fascinating area. Come and enjoy great views, delicious food and a warm friendly welcome.

The hotel provides half board or B&B accommodation and can be hired out in its entirety as a self-catering villa.

All 5 bedrooms are spacious and wheelchair accessible, with either level or ramped access and wide doors. The en-suite bathrooms are wet-room style with roll-in showers and plenty of grab rails around the WC and shower. The rooms are decorated in a Spanish traditional style with all modern comforts; air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, Hair-dryer, Kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. Two of the rooms are family rooms and sleep up to 4 people. Beds can be made as singles or as super king size doubles. Electric profiling beds are available for hire.

Dining is a highlight of a stay at Las Piedras. Delicious freshly prepared Mediterranean food making the most of the fantastic local produce. The set menu is different every night and features many local dishes. There is also a snack & bar menu to choose from. Special diets, vegetarians, allergies, blended meals all catered for. Meals are taken either in the lovely Andalucian style restaurant or on the vine-covered terrace with mountain views.

There is a fully stocked bar featuring Spanish wines and finos, San Miguel on tap, and a selection of spirits and soft drinks. There is also a poolside “help yourself” honesty bar fridge. The lounge area has comfy sofas, a TV, books and board games. There is a wood burning stove for winter.
