Freedom Shores − a Spacious & Universally Accessible Boutique Hotel with Restaurant and RV Park. Freedom Shores is a great choice for travelers interested in water activities or relaxation on the adjacent beach. Activities such as bird watching, dolphin watching, boat tours (the hotel is 20 minutes by boat from Isla de los Pájaros Island), and kayaks can be arranged as well. The Old Lighthouse & Museum is 1000 feet from our front entrance, and Ciudad del Carmen International Airport is a short, 50-minute drive away.

At Freedom Shores, our entire boutique resort including all guest rooms have been built and designed to be universally accessible. Each of the 9 over-sized rooms features garden views and offers basic décor, custom-built wooden furniture, remote controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, and mosquito netting on windows.

The en-suite bathrooms are private, fully accessible and include an adjustable height wheel in shower. Free Wi-Fi is also available in public areas. gantry style overhead hoists can be provided if required without charge and other disability equipment and care can be provided by an outside company for an extra charge.

Located 20 feet from Laguna de Términos seafront and beach, Freedom Shores is also the home of La Gringa Restaurant and Bar. Fresh seafood caught daily in the waters surrounding Isla Aguada are paired with local flavours and classic recipes, and is also available as room service for all our guests.
