In the restored Manse Courtyard of historic Crathie Kirk are four unique wheelchair accessible self-catering holiday cottages. Winner of one of VisitScotland’s prestigious Thistle Awards, the cottages offer the opportunity of a holiday in one of Scotland’s most stunning locations on the banks of the River Dee with glorious views of the mountain peaks of Lochnagar. Each cottage has been carefully designed and furnished to create a warm and welcoming home.

The cottages have been named after four of our beautiful Scottish Glens close to Crathie; you may like to explore these during your stay. Each wheelchair accessible cottage comprises of level ground floor access throughout, open plan living / dining area with underfloor heating, fully wheelchair accessible kitchen with fridge, induction hob, oven and microwave, wheel-in shower area with fold down shower seat, height-adjustable wash hand basin / mirror and closomat shower toilet, ceiling track hoist and height-adjustable electric bed in each main bedroom and Wi-fi internet access.

Rebecca Cottage is an award-winning wheelchair-accessible cottage situated in a beachfront location in Carnoustie with uninterrupted sea views and sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the ground floor. The single bedroom is adapted for wheelchair users with a profiling bed and a ceiling track hoist.

The accommodation is accessed via an automatic door. The ground floor comprises of a conservatory, lounge, utility room and adapted kitchen; twin bedroom and single bedroom with Sidhill profiling bed; large bathroom with toilet and wet floor shower, tracking hoist from large bathroom into single bedroom and a separate toilet.

There is a stairlift providing access to the first floor which comprises of a twin room, a stunning double sitting/ bedroom, and a modern wet room style shower room. All rooms have spectacular uninterrupted views of the sea which can also be enjoyed from the Conservatory. The Cottage has free Wi-Fi and has central heating throughout which provides warmth and comfort even in the winter months.
