This all-season, 3-bedroom cottage boasts an expansive barrier-free bathroom, accessible kitchen, and automatic door entrance. This beautiful landscape overlooks the stunning Northumberland Shore. Unwind in the hot tub or cozy up around the fire pit while enjoying the amazing view. Our cottage is a place where people of all ages and abilities can stay, escape, and enjoy the outdoors. 

On the lower level of the cottage, you’ll discover the inviting comfort of two bedrooms, each featuring a spacious double bed. In the loft bedroom, located on the cottage’s upper level, you will discover a queen-size bed. The loft bedroom also offers a comfortable and expandable day bed.  Barra Shores boasts the luxury of an expansive barrier-free bathroom, designed to provide not only ample space but also an environment that promotes accessibility and comfort. The cottage features a thoughtfully designed and fully accessible kitchen, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a family dining experience with ease.  The cottage’s living room provides a central hub for relaxation and socializing, offering an open, cozy, and inviting atmosphere for everyone. On the lower level, you’ll find the convenience of a dedicated laundry area that includes a washer and dryer.

Experience the ultimate in comfort and convenience with our indoor accessible hot tub, featuring a built-in ceiling lift for easy, effortless access. With the added benefit of being housed indoors, you can enjoy year-round comfort, no matter the weather outside.

For guests with disabilities, we provide a specially designated public parking spot, marked with clear signage for easy identification. Our main entrance has been designed for accessibility, featuring a step-free and barrier-free environment. We have a specialized device explicitly designed to assist individuals in moving in and out of a wheelchair. This device is a freestanding unit, providing flexibility to meet your accessibility needs. At Barra Shores, we’re proud to offer accessible walking/rolling trails for everyone to enjoy. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of mobility, can embrace the beauty of our outdoor surroundings.

Located in Wasaga Beach, Ontario just steps from the world’s longest fresh water beach that spans 14km along the beautiful sands of Georgian Bay. Oasis by the Bay engages guests year round with their guided activity experiences in and around the area and accommodation suites which are great for long stays, families and individuals requiring accessible vacations. Oasis by the Bay is owned and operated by E3 Community Services, Southern Georgian Bay’s community living provider and offers five accessible rooms and has many accessible vacation excursions fun for everyone!

The one bedroom suites will accommodate 1-3 people with two single beds, are accessible with ceiling lift systems in bedrooms and washrooms, have a separate living room, pull out couch, kitchenette, and large bathroom with walk-in shower or tub-shower combination. The two bedroom suites will accommodate 2-6 people, have double beds, a separate living room, pull out couch, kitchen with stove and full-sized fridge, and private bathroom.

Other unique features are BBQs for cooking, fire pit and pergola area with ample seating areas and many excursions to take advantage of to take in the taste and views of all that the Georgian Triangle area has to offer.

Ceiling lift systems in bedrooms and washrooms, wider doorways, ground level, bed railings, accessible groups, beach wheelchairs, and wheelchair transportation. Oasis is the only specialized accommodation provider in the area for accessible accommodations and excursions.
