Villa Carpe Diem (VCD) is a self-catering villa located on the beautiful south coast of Cyprus, halfway between Larnaca and Limassol. It has been designed to facilitate a person with accessibility or mobility issues to holiday with family or friends.
VCD is approximately 3 km from the sea, and is approached by quiet country roads and up a steep hill, leading into two level paved driveways at either lower ground level or ground level.

The villa is laid out on three floors. The lower ground floor is the self-contained adapted apartment, with access to the garage, garden and main house via a gently sloping, wide, ramped path. The ground floor forms the kitchen, dining room and sitting room of the main house (with cloak/shower room), the upper floor contains 3 bedrooms available to guests (with a choice of either twin or double bedded room, one additional double room and a king-size bedded room with en-suite) plus a family bath/ shower room.
VCD sleeps up to 8 people + cot.

Underneath is a self-contained accessible apartment that has electric profiling beds with memory foam mattress, Easy track ceiling track and Voyager hoist system, a wet room with wheel in shower, a sitting room and a kitchen (not adapted). There’s easy going, wide ramped access to the garden, swimming pool and common areas and the pool has an Oxford portable hoist to enable access for wheelchair users.

The property is currently up for sale so if you fancy owning an adapted holiday home in Cyprus then what are you waiting for, give them a call. It would be a shame for the only property in Cyprus with a ceiling track hoist to be lost.

Always contact the property’s owner before you make a firm booking to ensure all equipment listed can still be provided and is in working order. ALWAYS remember to take your own sling with you in order to use the hoist, most places DO NOT provide slings.
