3 Purpose-built, spacious, comfortable bungalows set amid a peaceful woodland area. The cottages are furnished to a very high standard and are wheelchair-friendly throughout. Within the 9 acre grounds, there are garden areas, wetland and wildlife ponds with protected great crested newts, woodland paths and a viewpoint giving extensive sea views.The whole development is designed to be wheelchair friendly and will also appeal to all who enjoy a countryside setting, near the sea and beach.

The 3 bungalows available for self-catering holidays are Rowan, Pine and Willow Cottages. These detached bungalows each comprise: large lounge/dining room with patio door to decked area, 3 double/twin bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one of which has a level access wet room shower. Beautifully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, full sized freezer, oven, low-level hob and microwave.

There’s level access throughout the property, one of the bedrooms has an electric single bed. There’s two bathrooms, one of which is a wet room. This has a wheel in shower, high level toilet and accessible sink. They have numerous disability aids you can use for free including shower/commode chairs and 2x mobile, electric hoists.

Located in the centre of Annan is this large 5 bedroom Georgian house accommodates up to 17 people. Designed and built with disability in mind, whether you have reduced mobility, have difficulty getting managing stairs, need assistance with everyday tasks, are a wheelchair user or have complex care needs – The Moat House is uniquely equipped to make your stay so much easier!

With plenty of parking and easy access The Moat House has “the space”, that you’d expect from an 1800’s Georgian Villa, that lends itself so well to wheelchair users. To the rear of the house there is a large, tranquil, wheelchair friendly courtyard style garden with ramps, patios, gazebo, “Sensory Garden” and covered BBQ area with outdoor tables and chairs – The ideal place to relax and unwind.

On the ground floor is an accessible bedroom with X/Y ceiling hoist and twin height adjustable beds, a wet room style bathroom with X/Y ceiling hoist, a level access shower with rise and fall shower/changing bench and a Clos-o-mat automatic toilet. The kitchen has a rise and fall hob, sink and worktop. Upstairs is accessed via a lift, one of the bedrooms has an X/Y ceiling hoist & double profiling bed.
