Berwick Cottage is in the attractive village of East Harling. The disability holiday cottage is situated in the Brecklands, which is right in the middle of the East Anglian tourist region.

The spacious Berwick Cottage sleeps six people in total, two with disabilities. You will find the specially designed disabled suite caters for nearly any disability. There is also suitable accommodation in addition for four family members or carers.

One of the most popular features of this cottage is the space it provides for those in wheelchairs. The spacious living area, with kitchen/dining and sitting areas allows families to spend quality time together for their holiday. The living room features tall windows allowing plenty of light into the room.

The very large disability bedroom, with two profiling beds, has French windows onto the garden terrace and a ceiling hoist leading to the well-equipped en-suite disability bathroom. In this bathroom is a height adjustable wash basin, a hi-lo bath, a Clos-o-Mat toilet and a full wheel-in shower. Upstairs you’ll find one double and one twin bedded room, a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, a wash basin, and toilet.

Our Disabled Holiday Cottages in Hunstanton Norfolk are maintained to a very high standard (Sunny & Hunny). We cater for even the Highest level of disability.

There are two adjoining luxury properties SUNNY (sleeps two people) & HUNNY(sleeps 6 people). The two properties have been fully refurbished. This holiday retreat is the perfect way for a disabled person and companion to get away on holiday in the property SUNNY.  

The bedroom has one electric profiling & height adjustable bed & One standard single bed. Additionally there is a Freeway Ceiling Hoist with one large sling provided, the hoist gives access to the profiling bed and the wet room area. The wet room has a fold down shower seat and an option of self propelled shower chairs with commode option, wall mounted bathroom sink with lever taps and fully automatic Clos-o-mat toilet. The ceiling hoist gives access into the wet-room, terminating over the toilet.

Sunny is a level access facility for the disabled. Holiday Accommodation is provided in two large rooms, room one is the bedroom and wet room. room two is the kitchen / lounge / dining area

The open plan living area has been designed so that you are able to socialise whilst in the kitchen adjoining the living area. The kitchen is a semi low level fully equipped kitchen, Microwave oven, Cooker & Hob, Dishwasher, Washing machine & Tumble dryer. The dining room/lounge area has Electric raise & lower arm chair, one standard arm chair, a portable transfer hoist, table and chairs, Television and DVD/CD player. The room has French doors leading to the large private garden. Both Sunny and Hunny have private gardens.

Hunny adjoins the disabled facility with a lockable sound proof door. Accommodation is provided with a lounge with separate dining room and separate kitchen. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a family bathroom.

Kenyon Bungalow is located in the pretty village of Neatishead, just a few miles north of Wroxham within the stunning Norfolk Broads. The property, which is located just a short walk from the village centre, provides accommodation for up to 10 people making it perfect for large families or groups of people wishing to holiday together. The bungalow is wheelchair friendly and is able to meet the needs of  a wide range of people with  disabilities.

The property consists of a fully equipped kitchen/dining area and has a height adjustable sink and hob. The lounge has a large 4k TV screen with sound-bar and free WiFi. The bungalow also has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are four bedrooms in total, two both have a single and profiling bed. The other two bedrooms have three single beds and in one room is another profiling bed. Each room has an en-suite wet-room. Outside there is a small garden with a seating area as well as ample parking.

Accommodation that suits the family, and offers more of what is needed for children and adults with complex needs, for whom “wheelchair access”, is just not enough. Sited at Haven’s Caister on Sea Holiday Park in Norfolk, with on site facilities to keep everyone amused during their break.

Access is via a ramp at all caravans, up to a decked terrace. Entry into the accommodation is through a door of a minimum 90cm wide and we also provide a threshold ramp stored just inside the main entrance. There is smooth, level access throughout, with sliding doors to bedrooms and wet rooms.

For bathing there is a large wet room, thermostatic controlled “super powerful” shower with extra long hose and a wheel in shower chair.  There are fixed hand rails in the shower area, and by the sink, with 1 fixed and one drop down rail by the toilet.

The master bedrooms are larger than you would normally find in a static caravan with a single profiling bed as well as a standard double bed and 2 double wardrobes, and 4 USB charging points. There is also a full room coverage overhead track hoist system. This room is easily reconfigured to give best access to meet your specific requirements.

Willow Tree Nelson is an adapted 3 bedroom house for holidays or respite. The Nelson caters for families and individuals that need a bit extra when staying away from home. All of the rental goes into the charity and it is run on a voluntary basis, so that we can deliver that personal touch. We cater for holidays and respite and will try our hardest to ensure you have a restful and rejuvenated stay with us. 

     

The bedrooms consist of a twin and adapted single downstairs and a double suite upstairs. The single comes with an electric profiling bed, across the corridor is a wet room with wheel in shower, shower chair and stool and a changing plinth. A mobile hoist can be provided free of charge along with a banana board. There’s an open plan living area with an adapted supported mobile armchair. At the rear of the property is a small fenced courtyard with 2 benches.
