We have 6 wheelchair accessible bedrooms in 3 separate apartments. The accommodation, pool and gardens are all wheelchair accessible throughout. All the rooms are extremely spacious allowing ease of use, including three large wetrooms.
We have chosen our location based upon the area having good access for wheelchair users, accessible beaches, restaurants and boat trips.

The apartments are furnished to a very high standard and made to feel like a home rather than a hospital. The apartments offer everything you could need to entertain yourselves during your holiday. All of the apartments have fully equipped kitchens, outside barbecue areas, swim aids and access  to a very large range of disabled equipment.

All three apartments come with a wet room with a wheel in shower and numerous shower chairs and a shower table. An electric portable hoist, a riser / recliner arm chair plus lots of other disability equipment are available for free during your stay The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments have at least 1 electric fully adjustable profiling bed. Outside you’ll find a patio area and swimming pool with sling type hoist.

Each apartment is supplied with a wheelchair accessible courtesy car. We collect and return you to the airport at no extra charge, taking the worry and hassle out of your holiday.  We live on site and are available to help, or give advice, as well as to arrange trips if you need us to.

Wheelchair Friendly villa in the Algarve As Casinhas, close to Golf and Beaches, sleeping, 6 adults. Wheelchair friendly, private pool, fully air-conditioned/heated throughout and fully equipped, linen and towels, Free Wi-Fi and Sat TV. This tastefully and thoughtfully designed property is fully accessible for wheelchair users, yet looks and feels totally normal for those not in a wheelchair.

This beautiful cottage has 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suite. All bathrooms have a wheel in shower, bidet, accessible sink and under-floor heating. The open plan kitchen and dining room is fully equipped and has space under the sink and hob for wheelchair users. Private accessible swimming pool (salt treated) with gentle ramp, ample sun terrace area and 6 sun-loungers.

There’s a number of disability aids available for your use including a manual hydraulic hoist, wheeled shower / pool chair and bed raisers. Other disability aids can be hired from a local company for an extra charge, as can a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

In Casa do Lago, a disabled friendly villa abroad to rent, we offer a large, heated panoramic and accessible swimming pool with pool hoist. Accessible barbecue with panoramic tables for outside meals (12 seats). All floors and gardens are accessible and directly accessible from the driveway.

The Villa  Luz do Sol enjoys stunning sea and country views, a peaceful location is ideally suited for wheelchair users and their families. Sleeps 7 plus two babies/toddlers. Close to amenities and beautiful beaches but having rural appeal usually only found far inland. There are 4 bedrooms the main bedroom has it own balcony, A double bedroom leading into the garden. A twin room with  country views, and a single room with its own terrace and country views.

One of the spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms has been adapted especially for wheelchair users. This light and large bedroom has 4m wide French windows leading out onto a terracotta pathway, garden and pool area. With 90 cm wide clear door openings & overhead bed grab bar attached to the wall. The wardrobe has a lower hanging rail and shelves, remote controls for the air conditioning/heating and a safe.

The en suite bathroom has also been adapted for wheelchair users, a level access shower room with two grab rails. The W.C. with support grab rails both sides, and a toilet raiser if needed. There is plenty of space under the sink for a wheelchair, and a lower mirror. Kept at the villa is a shower chair/commode chair with arms that lift up for easier transfers, also a shower trolley. Other equipment can be rented & delivered to the villa for your arrival.

The lounge is light and very spacious 40 m2, with a domed ceiling. The two French windows with four doors each all open onto the terracotta covered terraces, shaded with Bougainvillea, garden and pool areas. The large pool has shallow Roman steps for easier entry. A battery operated pool lift, and underwater pool lights.

The kitchen is also light and spacious (25m2). A large wide window with views overlooking the north valley and countryside. A comfortable wooden dining table. Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, pots and pans, glasses and utensils. Dishwasher, washing/dryer machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, hob and oven.

Casa Ourico do Mar is a light and spacious villa with stunning views and has level access/interior, profiling beds, accessible wet-rooms, two mobile hoists, range of mobility equipment to loan, and private swimming pool with hoist. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or complimentary wheelchair-accessible airport transfers.


The master bedroom has 2 electrically adjustable beds with memory foam mattresses and each bed can be fitted with a parrot perch. The adjacent bathroom of the master bedroom has a shower with wheelchair access and support handle, a hanging sink, a toilet with support handles on both sides and lever taps. The second accessible bedroom has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower with wheelchair access and support handle, a hanging sink and a toilet with support rails. The third bedroom, non-accessible, is up a few steps and has 2 single beds with space for a folding bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath, a toilet and a sink.

There is a spacious, south-facing living/dining room that opens onto a large terrace with beautiful views. The living area has comfortable seating with a Smart TV and leads to the dining area with large wooden table and chairs for 6 (blocks can be supplied to increase the height of the table). There is free fibre optic WIFI throughout the villa. The villa has a modern, fully equipped kitchen which also opens onto the sun terrace.

We have beautiful outdoor areas, including a large terrace leading off the living room and kitchen, and a large south-facing swimming pool accessed via a large lift or the side path. The pool and surrounding terrace have breathtaking views over the valley, and there is a hydraulic pool lift with a chair or sling option. Guests can enjoy comfortable sunbeds and a pool-side room with refrigerator.

Spokes Algarve villa is an exciting new concept in adapted and 100% wheelchair accessible holiday accommodation in southern Portugal. The 6 bedroom suites are modern, spacious and air conditioned. Wet-room bathrooms compliment the four adapted bedrooms on the ground floor with a further 2 en-suite bedrooms on the first floor  providing ample space for the largest of families.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and air conditioned. Spokes has 4 fully adapted suites with wet-room bathrooms. All have more than adequate turning space whether manual or electric chairs. This adapted accommodation is all on the ground floor with 2 further suites on the first floor.

We have three profile beds, an electric indoor hoist, ceiling hoist over the bath in The Garden Suite, shower chairs and commode, sliding access doors, wet-room bathrooms, heightened tables for access, a pool hoist for sling or chair entry into the solar heated pool.
