A 2 bed bungalow in Weston super Mare with an accessible hot tub with hoist. Crescent Hideaway sleeps up to 5 people.  We have a single profiling bed, a king-size bed and 2 chair beds, one in with the profiling bed and one in the lounge.

We have a mobile hoist, ceiling track hoist, a stand aid hoist, and wet room. We have a choice of 3 shower commode chairs, a Tilt n Space, a self propelling and a Rifton HTS suitable for a child or small adult up to 68kg, a pull down shower table and lots more for our more able guests. Accommodation that suits the family, and offers more of what is needed for children and adults with complex needs, for whom “wheelchair access”, is just not enough. A WCF Willerby Rio Gold sited at Haven’s Burnham on Sea Holiday Village in Somerset, with on site facilities to keep everyone amused during their break.

Access is via a ramp at all caravans, up to a decked terrace. Entry into the accommodation is through a door of a minimum 90cm wide and we also provide a threshold ramp stored just inside the main entrance. There is smooth, level access throughout, with sliding doors to bedrooms and wet rooms.

For bathing there is a large wet room, thermostatic controlled “super powerful” shower with extra long hose and a wheel in shower chair.  There are fixed hand rails in the shower area, and by the sink, with 1 fixed and one drop down rail by the toilet.

The master bedrooms are larger than you would normally find in a static caravan with a single profiling bed as well as a standard double bed and 2 double wardrobes, and 4 USB charging points. There is also a full room coverage overhead track hoist system. This room is easily reconfigured to give best access to meet your specific requirements.

Our spacious 4 bedroom, detached bungalow, fully equipped to provide a comprehensive, fun and inclusive holiday for all abilities with their families, friends and carers, all within a 3 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to the wheelchair accessible beach !

The bungalow has a large twin bedroom with two profiling beds, barn-style door leading to front garden, TV, and an en-suite wet-room with step-free shower, half-pedestal washbasin suitable for seated access, non-slip flooring, height-adjustable shower trolley, shower chair, and wheeled commode chair. Sacred Spirit has a second twin bedroom with two profiling beds, and two further single bedrooms with profiling beds. All bedrooms have TVs and USB charging points.

Sacred Spirit has a cosy lounge overlooking the front of the bungalow with sofa and armchairs, riser/recliner chair, wood-stove effect electric fire, piano, and flat-screen TV. The bungalow has a spacious family room with armchairs and wall-mounted TV, dining table with seating for 6 and sliding patio door leading onto the rear courtyard garden. Sacred Spirit has a modern fully fitted kitchen with a lowered worktop, and a small utility room with laundry facilities.

Select the lodge that suits your needs best; Mountain Lodge caters for those with acute allergies while Coastal Cottage is pet friendly. Lower Laurel Farm provides more than just accommodation; it’s a holiday, but with all the equipment necessary in a specially designed building to ensure a stress-free stay.

Both three-bedroom holiday lodges come with a profiling bed, complete with looped tracking hoist from the bed to wet room and H frame in the bedroom. Not only that, but the wet room is also based on changing places design with shower, drop down seat, changing bench, wheelchair accessible sink, high toilet and grab rails.

Both cottages have a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a cosy wood-burning stove and plenty of space for any additional equipment required. Myrtle House is a spacious farmhouse situated in South Somerset, between Ilminster and Taunton, available for self-catering family holidays and short breaks. The property is set in its own land, surrounded by gardens, a paddock, and fields usually grazed by cows and calves, and makes a fantastic base for a relaxing vacation. 

Myrtle House provides two self-contained, complementary units of accommodation, with differing levels of facilities for the disabled. The old farmhouse – a comfortably decorated space that can sleep 7 guests plus a baby in comfort, updated with a stairlift and wet shower room facilities. The annex – an adjoining barn, recently converted with specialist disabled facilities, that can accommodate 2 people easily, with an additional sofa bed available for extra guests. These two units can be rented together for a party of 9+, or can be taken individually if neither unit is already booked.

The annex is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate 2 people, the bedroom contains a pair of profiling 3″ beds, one of which is also a rising bed. An overhead hoist links the bedroom to the ensuite bathroom, a specialised wetroom. There is a wall-mounted LCD TV opposite the bed, and bedside lamps. The ensuite bathroom contains sink, toilet and shower, equipped with shower seat and grab rails. The overhead hoist terminates above the toilet. The wetroom floor is waterproof, meaning there is no step into the shower.

All of the space can be accessed either on the flat or via ramps, both within the Annex and its approaches. There is a ramp between the back, living area and the front kitchen and bedrooms. The whole property has been designed to meet national accessibility standards. The living area contains a large corner sofabed, wall-mounted LCD TV, an armchair, occasional tables and standard lamp. The kitchen contains a selection of units, including an electric hob/oven, with space for a wheelchair under the hob and sink. There are gardens to front and rear and a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. There is also a ramp and path for wheelchair users.
