This home has the benefit of a purpose-built disabled en-suite annex with ceiling hoisting. The house is wheelchair accessible from kerbside to bedside.

The ground floor has been tastefully adapted for a wheelchair user with wider doorways and level access onto the patio through the large ground floor bedroom, enjoying a low bay window overlooking the garden. It has a large Smart TV and a 2 seater sofa in to relax! This bedroom has an overhead hoist system from bed to the en-suite bathroom. The bed is electrical height-adjustable with optional bed rails should they be required. The large bathroom is a wet room with walk-in level power shower, toilet (with portable surround) 2 sinks, a changing table and plenty of space. A shower chair/stool can also be provided. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with vanity sink area and a twin bedroom next to a shower room and toilet.

The kitchen and dining area is bright, light and homely. Great for socialising & self-catering after days out! There is a large fridge freezer, gas hob, electric fan oven below, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. In the dining room is a wood burner, TV, leather sofa, chairs, together with an extendable table seating up to eight. In the Summer this is a lovely space with a sliding door onto the patio where you can breakfast in the sun! The lounge at the front of the house is a comfortable room with two sofas, arm chairs and a smart TV with DVD player.

Accommodation that suits the family, and offers more of what is needed for children and adults with complex needs, for whom “wheelchair access”, is just not enough. Sited on Cove Communities Seal Bay Resort, with on site facilities to keep everyone amused during their break.

Access is via a ramp at all caravans, up to a decked terrace. Entry into the accommodation is through a door of a minimum 90cm wide and we also provide a threshold ramp stored just inside the main entrance. There is smooth, level access throughout, with sliding doors to bedrooms and wet rooms.

For bathing there is a large wet room, thermostatic controlled “super powerful” shower with extra long hose and a wheel in shower chair.  There are fixed hand rails in the shower area, and by the sink, with 1 fixed and one drop down rail by the toilet.

The master bedrooms are larger than you would normally find in a static caravan with a single profiling bed as well as a standard double bed and 2 double wardrobes, and 4 USB charging points. There is also a full room coverage overhead track hoist system. This room is easily reconfigured to give best access to meet your specific requirements.
