Beamsley Project is set in relaxing gardens and is in the building of the former Beamsley Methodist Church located between Skipton and Harrogate and between the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and the fascinating Pennine moors of Ilkley and Haworth. We particularly specialise in holidays for people with additional needs and have a range of equipment such as mobile hoists, lifts, cot sides and electric profiling beds available in both the Centre and the Cottage. 

The Centre is in a former Methodist Chapel which has been superbly converted to look after groups of visitors with disabilities. There are 6 bedrooms – two 4-single bedded and four 2 single bedded rooms. Two rooms have profiling beds. One family bathroom consisting of low-level bath with grab rails and hand held shower, adjustable height Pressalit changing table with electrically operated shower overhead and wheel under wash basin with lever tabs. You’ll also find two wet-rooms with wheel-in handheld showers with grab support rails and a Closomat wash & dry toilet.

Our accessible 19th century cottage is located adjacent to our main centre. Although it is attached to the centre it is also independent from it, with its own front and rear entrances and can be hired separately to the centre or as an annexe for large groups.  On the first floor there are three twin bedrooms, one with electric profiling bed with memory foam mattress.  The lift from the lounge also comes into this bedroom. There’s a shared wheel-in shower room and toilet.  In addition to grab and support rails there is an adult changing table with overhead shower.  Mobile shower chairs, commodes and hoists are also available.

Bempton Beach House is a ground-floor luxury property that can accommodate up to 7 guests. located at Aria Resorts  holiday village known as ‘The Bay’ in Filey. This holiday village is a spacious development of wide boulevards and mews style cul-de-sacs that feature attractive properties reflecting the elegance of a traditional seaside village.

The property has four bedrooms consisting of: 1 king size bed with en-suite wet room, a further twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 2 specialist bedrooms both with a fully profiling bed, ceiling tracking and hoist leading to an en-suite wet room with shower table and shower chair. There is also a family bathroom. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is open plan and there is a log-effect fire in the lounge area. There are bi-fold doors in the lounge and dining area giving access on to decking at the front and rear of the property.

The site facilities include a family friendly pub serving food and refreshments throughout the day and evening, the Bayside Kitchen serving Paninis and pizzas, a pharmacy, and a leisure and swimming pool complex with hoist access to the pool. As guests of this holiday home you’ll have access to these facilities free of charge.

Bempton Holiday Villa is a 2 story house & can accommodate up to 8 guests with five bedrooms. Located at Aria Resorts  holiday village known as ‘The Bay’ in Filey. This holiday village is a spacious development of wide boulevards and mews style cul-de-sacs that feature attractive properties reflecting the elegance of a traditional seaside village.

Consisting of 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 specialist bedrooms each with a fully profiling bed, ceiling tracking and hoist leading to an en-suite wet room with shower table and shower chair. There is also a family bathroom. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is open plan with bi-fold doors looking out on to woodland and a small lake. Bempton Holiday Villa also has a through floor lift, giving wheelchair access to the upper floor. There are TVs in the lounge and all bedrooms, as well as an iPod Docking Station in the double bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier and a large quantity of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. There is garden furniture for you to sit and enjoy the views from your patio.

Our disability friendly self-catering cottages at South Newlands Farm provide the ideal home for a holiday in Yorkshire. Spacious and well equipped, the 3-bedroomed wheelchair accessible cottages are located in a quiet rural area and each has convenient access to extensive and safe private grounds. The most accessible, Crown Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6.

Designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind, each cottage has been built to the highest quality standards. The master bedroom has its own en-suite facility and the large rooms and seating area outside make the cottages a perfect choice for a family holiday. All on one floor, each cottage offers ample wheelchair access, a wet room and generously proportioned rooms, all making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The spacious kitchen includes a dining table so people can cook, chat and eat together and the large lounge provides a perfect social environment.

Two of the bedrooms are twins, the other is a double and this is the room with a ceiling track hoist, this runs from the bed, into the en-suite bathroom which has a wheel in shower. There’s also a separate bathroom which has a wheel in shower and a bath. There’s a large lounge area with TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and gas cooker.

Accommodation that suits the family, and offers more of what is needed for children and adults with complex needs, for whom “wheelchair access”, is just not enough. A WCF Willerby Rio Gold sited at Park Holidays’ Bowland Fell Holiday Park, with on site facilities to keep everyone amused during their break.

Access is via a ramp at all caravans, up to a decked terrace. Entry into the accommodation is through a door of a minimum 90cm wide and we also provide a threshold ramp stored just inside the main entrance. There is smooth, level access throughout, with sliding doors to bedrooms and wet rooms.

For bathing there is a large wet room, thermostatic controlled “super powerful” shower with extra long hose and a wheel in shower chair.  There are fixed hand rails in the shower area, and by the sink, with 1 fixed and one drop down rail by the toilet.

The master bedrooms are larger than you would normally find in a static caravan with a single profiling bed as well as a standard double bed and 2 double wardrobes, and 4 USB charging points. There is also a full room coverage overhead track hoist system. This room is easily reconfigured to give best access to meet your specific requirements.
