Set in the rural outskirts of Castlewellan, Co Down this accommodation offers all modern facilities with open plan living and dining.
Everywhere is fully wheelchair accessible. There are ramps to front and side entrances and all doors have 926mm (36”) clear opening. The house is accessed by a level, tarmac driveway with ample car-parking space and there are ramps to the front and side entrances.
There are 4 spacious double bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is furnished with twin beds, one of which is an electric profile bed. This room is fitted with a ceiling hoist to en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is furnished with twin beds which can be zipped together to form a Super King Bed. Bedroom 3 is furnished with a King Bed and bedroom 4 is furnished with a Super King Zip & Link Bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have interlinking en-suite wet-room. All bedrooms have wall-mounted Televisions and spacious storage facilities.
All bathrooms / en-suites are level access wet-rooms. The fully accessible bathroom is equipped with bath, level access shower, raised toilet with drop-down support arm and grab rail, all of which can be accessed by the ceiling hoist if required.
The fully equipped kitchen has low level sink and induction hob, with clear space under, making it accessible for wheelchair users. It comes with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and a microwave. You’ll also find a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The flat is one of two located in a recently converted barn and is fully wheelchair accessible. The location is approximately 3 miles from the harbor. The cabin would appeal to bird watchers and nature lovers . The quality of the light on the island is unique and inspirational. The hosts also offer an art space for guests at an additional cost.
The cabin is a fully equipped ground floor wheelchair accessible apartment. It is centrally heated and has stunning views of the north coast. It has a double bedroom/living room and accessible kitchen with side opening oven, and a large ensuite wetroom. If you are a wheelchair user please message us with your needs before booking as we can prepare the space to suit your needs. The cabin offers a retreat like experience for anyone who loves peace and wild tranquil places. There is a utility room close to the cabin which offers a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, hairdryer.
