The Clayton Lodge is set on the scenic Clayton Caravan Park, in the beautiful Eden Valley in North East Fife, and is situated just minutes from St Andrews and the Fife coast. The state-of-the-art disabled-friendly lodge has been specially designed with MND in mind. The lodge aims to provide families affected by MND, and other disabilities, with a chance to take a break from their normal routine and to enjoy a break together.

Due to the physical progression of MND, there are often barriers to families taking a break they may desperately need. That’s why the Clayton Lodge has been purpose designed to prioritise space and comfort and is fitted with an array of helpful adaptations suitable for people with MND and other disabilities.

The main bedroom has a double and a single, fully adjustable electric bed and a ceiling track hoist running from the single bed into the en-suite wet room. This has a wheel in shower with a tilt in space portable shower chair and a Clos-o-mat automatic toilet. There’s a second twin bedroom and bathroom with over-bath shower plus a sofa bed and riser/recliner arm chair in the lounge.

Fully accessible living accommodation and accessible garden with patio area and raised beds, designed with the wheelchair user in mind. Close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. 

Clober Farm is a self-catering apartment that can sleep up to 6 people, in three bedrooms. There is level access throughout and a combined kitchen/living area with patio doors leading onto a patio area and landscaped garden.

The Master bedroom is fitted with a Liko 200 ceiling tracking hoist and slings are available. One height adjustable profiling bed with an Invacare pressure relief air mattress.  One profiling bed with a standard mattress at a height of 630mm from the floor. There is a large wet room that can be accessed from the Master bedroom. Shower / commode chairs are provided. The height-adjustable hand basin with a lever tap can move between 700mm and 860mm from the floor. There are horizontal and vertical grab rails at the WC.       

The kitchen is situated within the open plan extension. Fully accessible kitchen with low level fridge, freezer, microwave & oven. Adjustable height worktop from 695mm to 870mm from the floor with induction hob and sink. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, iron, ironing board and clothes airer in the utility room.

Crathie Opportunity Holidays offers 4, 2 bedroomed accessible cottages, sleeping between 4 and 6 people near to Balmoral in the Cairngorms National Park.

Each cottage has a ceiling track hoist and a single, adjustable bed in the accessible bedroom. The wet room has a ceiling track hoist (except Gairn), a wheel in shower with shower chair, a height adjustable sink and a Clos-o-mat automatic toilet.
